Event Description

Tony Kushner is a Pulitzer Prize-winning writer best known for Angels in America: A Gay Fantasia on National Themes, and the screenplays for two films directed by Steven Spielberg — Munich, and Lincoln, which was nominated for an Academy Award.
In Toronto for one night only, Kushner will talk about how he “tackles the most difficult subjects in contemporary history” (New Yorker), how his life as an artist weaves the most challenging politics of the day so seamlessly throughout his writing, and his thoughts on the future of contemporary theatre in North America.
